As always we’ll feature social events on all nights surrounding JSConf EU. Check the schedule overview for more info on the Friday and Sunday party. For the Saturday night event there are a few more things to say, though:
Right after the event, we’ll have a grand dinner at the conference venue. Really, everything all night will be in roughly the same space – so, no need to go back to your hotel, house, etc. as far as we are concerned.
At 9pm the real fun starts. We’ll move over to the Glashaus (which you’ll be familiar with because that is where our “Side Track” will have been all day).
No ticket to JSConf EU? You can still come!
You’ll find 3 rooms:
We’ll serve a fine selection of non-alcoholic and light alcoholic beverages. Long-drinks are available for purchase. Knowing that, it might be a good time to re-familiarize yourself with our code of conduct.
The final talk of the day! Watch the nested loops team dive deep into how they made the 2015 JSConf EU intro.
We think we found the most JSConf EU compatible artist ever, check out LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER.
Here late actually means about 2am, because we have another conference day to go to.
DJs: Conny, Moritz Esyot, Nikolai Nonsleep Spreng
VJs: Rachel White, Ruth & Sam from LiveJS
This year, for the first time ever, we have a Festival Area! We dedicated a part of our large and beautiful venue just to fun activities and short live demos that you can check out during breaks. You’ll be able to: meet the companies that support JSConf EU, chat with the people behind open source projects / community initiatives, be wooed by { live : JS }, see the JSConf swag getting printed, take selfies in our photo booth, play foosball, charge up your phones, grab a frozen yogurt and … sit on beanbags!
Supporting Companies: JSConf EU wouldn’t be possible without the support of great companies: our sponsors! Many of them will be available for chats and demos in our Festival Area.
Community Area: The JS community is awesome, and we’re proud to have some fantastic contributors and organizers as our guests. Come and meet them, get a demo, and learn how you can get involved too: Zach and Andy for NESpectre, Amelia for UX Night School, Julia & Finn for Nodeschool, Saskia for ClojureBridge, Yoshua for dat project, and Marjin for codemirror.
Fun Stuff: We got you covered. During breaks, you can meet the crew behind { live : JS }, hang out with LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER from our Saturday night party, and explore their audio/visual arts, learn from SDW printshop how the JSConf swag is printed, take selfies with friends in our photo booth, play foosball, or relax in a beanbag.
We’re happy to be able to offer free, all-day childcare at the venue for children aged 3 and above. For parents with younger infants, we will provide a quiet room equipped with comfy seats, diapers and other essentials where you can retreat to throughout the day.
Between 9am and 7pm, there will be a dedicated area with childcare professionals who will look after your children while you enjoy the conference.
In order to use our child care services, we ask that you register a separate, free ticket below and let us know everything that is important to keep your child happy during the conference. Please note that places are limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We look forward to welcoming you and your children to the conference!
We do our best to ensure that the conference, venue and events throughout the day are fully accessible, so that all attendees can wholly participate in and enjoy the conference. To do this, we work closely with venue and volunteer staff prior to and on the day of the event to ensure disability access to all areas.
As part of our commitment to accessibility, we’re providing real-time transcription (CART) at JSConf EU. There will be a live feed of every word of each talk. Transcription will be available through in-venue screens and via these URLs: Back track, Side track.

We are striving for the most diverse group of people possible — we firmly believe in equality, thus we invite everyone and anyone to participate. In order to make this possible, we are proud to announce our scholarship programme for people who would otherwise be unable to participate.
Our scholarship fund will support about sixty people to attend JSConf EU and/or CSSconf EU. Scholarships include a free ticket to the conference that will be awarded after an application process and lottery. Depending on the funds we can raise, we plan to also fully sponsor travel expenses and accommodation, if required.
Anyone from an underrepresented group in tech is invited to apply for this scholarship. This includes, but is not limited to: women, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled people, and people facing economic or social hardships.
The application process is simple: Tell us about what you do with JS or CSS, and why you want to attend JSConf EU or CSSconf EU.
→ Apply now for the JSConf EU / CSSconf EU Scholarship
Scholarships are made possible by a joint effort of JSConf EU and CSSconf EU attendees and sponsors. Our attendees raised over 40,000 EUR for scholarship tickets to the conferences in 2015. We are very proud to be part of this community for showing their support of this initiative. Thank you!
And let’s do it again! You help is needed again this year. Talk to us if you’d like to get involved: contact@jsconf.eu.

JSConf EU is a professional, not-for-profit, labour-of-love conference for the JavaScript community that you don’t want to miss out on – Read up on the JSConf EU experience and what a ticket buys you.
We are again offering Diversity Support Tickets. As last year you are purchasing a ticket for yourself and help another person of the conference’s choosing to be able to attend the event.
To make the program even more accessible we now offer a wider range of “Support Options”. Starting with paying 25% of a ticket to paying for a full ticket. We thank you in advance for your generosity and awesomeness and looking forward to a more diverse JSConf EU than ever before.
Hi, this is Tiffany, Jan, Karolina, Holger & Malte, the JSConf EU curators.
We’re thrilled to announce JSConf EU 2017! That’s right, together with CSSconf EU, we will return only a few months later than usual, in spring 2017 (May 6-7 2017).
We don’t want to reveal too much yet, but we’re super excited about our new amazing venue.
See you all at JSConf EU 👋 Tiffany, Jan, Karolina, Holger & Malte
